⚡ One-Button Electric Auto Rewind
Press the button on the control panel to start automatic hose retraction. Press again to stop at any time. The built-in self-protection system automatically stops rewinding if an obstacle is detected — clear the obstacle and press again to continue. Do NOT hold the hose firmly while it is being fed in.

Works with DeWalt XR DCB203 (20V Max 2.0Ah 36Wh) and DeWalt XR DCB182 (20V Max 4.0Ah 72Wh) batteries. Battery and charger are not included. Insert the battery into the battery holder, close the hatch until it clicks. Always keep the battery hatch closed during use. Remove the battery when not in use.

The LED panel on the control panel displays real-time battery status after starting the hose feed:
- Red + Yellow + Green = 70–100% charged
- Red + Yellow = 30–70% charged
- Red only = 0–30% charged
- Error light (⚠️) solid = internal circuit abnormal
- Error light (⚠️) flashing = battery temperature too high — allow to cool before use
🔄 Manual Crank Backup
In addition to electric rewind, the included crank handle allows full manual operation. To rewind manually, walk the hose end back toward the reel so the hose forms a U-shape in front of the unit — this assists smoother rewinding.

Q: How do I charge the battery?
A: Open the battery hatch, press the release button on the battery, and remove it from the holder. Close the hatch. Charge using a DeWalt-compatible charger. Charge only at ambient temperatures between 0–45°C. Allow the battery to cool for at least 30 minutes after use before charging.
Q: What is the ground peg and why is it important?
A: The ground peg (G) must be installed before using the electric rewind function. Without it, the reel may move or overturn during automatic retraction due to the motor force.
Q: What if the hose feed does not start or stops mid-retraction?
A: The battery or product temperature may be out of range. Wait until the temperature is between 0–40°C. Also check for moisture between the battery contacts — dry with a clean cloth if needed.
Q: Can this be used in the rain?
A: No. Do NOT use in rain or wet conditions. Do NOT spray water when the battery hatch is open or into the feed compartment.
Q: How do I install the stop-ball?
A: Rotate the crank handle to rewind the hose to your desired length. Place the two semi stop-ball parts around the hose at the desired position and screw them together. Use the inner diameter adjusting gaskets as needed: for 5/8" standard hose (22mm OD) — no gasket needed; for wide hose of hose reel (18mm OD) — use 1 gasket; for standard hose of hose reel (16mm OD) — use 2 gaskets.
